William Means to Market and Sell Hibben

Last week William Means, an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s Great Estates, announced that it will be the exclusive agency for the marketing and selling of custom homes and new home sites in Hibben.  There will be approximately 300 custom homes located in Hibben, just inside the Belle Hall Plantation neighborhood on Long Point Road.  This neighborhood takes its inspiration with park space, playareas, two miles of walking trails, and wonderful porches on 130 acres of land with marsh and water views from downtown Charleston architecture and the Lowcountry.  There are pools and community docks as part of the aminities as well, all within close proximity.  Read the press release and let me know if you have any questions or would like me to show you around.  You can reach me at sallierobinson@williammeans.com.

Shem Creek Park

Shem Creek

The town of Mt. Pleasant is moving closer to building a public park along Shem Creek once it submits its plans to the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Managment and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  It will be located where OK Tire once stood and the conceptual plans include boardwalks, floating docks, a pedestrian drawbridge, a sailing school (in my opinion the best part of the entire plan!), and a fishing dock that would allow visitors to enjoy the marsh and waters of the creek that lead to the harbour.  There are still a number of steps and many month to go through before the park is a reality and ready to be enjoyed.  Check out this Post and Courier article about the furture park and see the master plan!
